Opportunities

Volunteer Involvement:
SAEL's basic aim to involve volunteers from international and national scenario is to promote and enhance transnational culture among the present generation. This is essential to promote intercultural values and concerns among the young people. Volunteers are involved in variety of activities; most part of their stay remains in Lahore City yet they are expected to travel to fringe boundaries for out reach work.

They are mainly engaged in activities related to ‘linguistic skill programmes' for students and teachers at Key Stage One & Two, Communication Skill Enhancement Workshops and in some research study at primary levels of schooling. Volunteers also work along SAEL counselling team and teachers at primary level in activities related to cultural education & awareness programmes.

Volunteer's stay and work with us shall face new challenges and adventures, an unforgettable and life time experience of new culture, meeting new people and learning new skills whilst exploring the historical city of Lahore in Pakistan.

We happily host all these volunteers who plan and work with us and who have an endless urge of helping others, the commitment of devotion and the drive for learning and promoting noble causes any where in the world.

SAEL wishes to offer maximum opportunities to education providers for enhancing an environment for learning and further advancement and we believe this is possible by corporate pool of resources (material, human and information) with all such reputed institutes to share the information, knowledge and skills.

We try our level best to make this experience, an experience of life time and an addition to the profiles, already full of dedication and excellence!

There is a well developed network of medical facilities in Lahore . If volunteers do have any problem, they are advised to contact SAEL's team, who will assist them in any way they can.

Volunteer Comments
I joined SAEL to help in one of the education management project's STEP Institute of Professional Development. I was free after my O-levels exams; it was my first experience to work somewhere. I was assigned to work as a classroom assistant for “English Language for Kids Programme”.

Kids programme was structured in such a way that all the students were learning in a fun based environment and I was learning new things everyday too.

Kids are ever so challenging and fun to deal with. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at STEP. All the people at STEP and SAEL are very encouraging and helpful. I look forward to work with SAEL on their other projects next year.
