Teachers Training
Education Research Development Programme (ERDP)

“As a teacher follow three things; don't let yourself down, don't let anybody down, and don't participate in any letdown.” (Pedagogy of Oppressed)

SAEL's Education Research & Development Programme (ERDP) aims to provide an authentic and consistent research oriented platform for the education managers and teachers. A place where they can share, synthesize and evaluate teaching practices that have been driving our education system over the years. This will create synchronization between different schools' management, administration and teachers, and will enable them to provide a unified progressive vision to the youth of Pakistan . We believe that Education Sector is unified entity, whose aim is “to create a progressive culture rather than training an individual or group of individuals.”

ERDP's ambition “to study teaching at all levels”, is to help SAEL improve the quality of education in Pakistan and to disseminate findings in formats that Teachers, Administrators and Policy Makers can use.

To ensure that the research through focus groups and other means, meets the needs of education system, SAEL is committed to connecting research with practice and researchers with practitioners in a variety of ways. SAEL aims to create and support systematic partnerships between practitioners, trainers and researchers in order to strengthen its research and make it available & useful to the field. “We wish to make learning an explicit process.”
