| Second half of the education counselling seminar to council students for further education and importance of industrial links was held on October 13 2004 at Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore. |

| Representatives from industry and education sector from all over Lahore participated in the seminar and discussed the importance of linking vocational scenario to academia. |

| Representatives from The British Council, Higher Education Commission Pakistan (HEC), Edexcel International, Scarsdale International School , LEVI Strauss, Institute of Bankers and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) spoke to the audience of five hundred students and provided individual counseling sessions for their queries to opt for further internationally recognised education pathways and industrial placements in Pakistan and abroad. |

| Representatives from Industry emphasized upon the pathways students may take up to get into variety of roles in industry and how the vocational exposure during their student life may help them gain the confidence and skills necessary for successful professional and personal life. STEP's education counselors provided free counselling services for students and young professionals for international industrial and educational placements. |
